2017 Arizona Imaging and Microanalysis Society Annual Conference

The Arizona Imaging and Microanalysis Society (AIMS) hosts this annual conference every spring. The AIMS meeting provides an ideal setting for members to discuss and exchange topics, updates, and news on research and also to learn about new techniques and concepts. AIMS 2017 will feature a special seminar on March 2, 2017 (9:30 – 11:00 a.m.; Biodesign Auditorium) by Dr. Teng-Leong Chew who will present the Visiting Scholar Program in the Advanced Imaging Center at the Janelia Research Campus. During the afternoon of March 2, there will be an Image Ethics half day workshop describing the limitations regarding imaging editing. Please visit azmicroscopy.org/events for the complete meeting program and flyer.

Gatan continues its corporate sponsorship of AIMS and will have a team of R&D and Sales representatives at AIMS 2017 to engage with attendees on current TEM and SEM applications and techniques. Please visit the Gatan sponsor table to discuss your application needs or contact Matt Chipman to schedule an appointment to meet on-site.
