Nippon Gatan: New Address and “New” Manager

In February 2008, Nippon Gatan moved to a larger facility in Monzen-nakacho, Tokyo. The Nippon office houses sales, customer service and administration for Japan and also manages and supports Gatan’s Asia Pacific Region (APR) service organization. Nippon Gatan is a member of the Microimaging Applications Group (MAG) and Nippon Roper.

Heading Nippon Gatan will be a Gatan veteran of the APR, Dr. Michal Rabara. Dr. Rabara has been working for Nippon Gatan since 1999 as a field service engineer, then as the APR Service Manager, and now as both the General Manager and APR Service Manager. He holds an M.Sc. in material science, an M.B.A., and a Ph.D. in superconductivity.
