Heating and Environmental Cell Holder, HHST4004
The HHST4004 - an environmental cell heating holder
for TEM allows the specimen to be loaded into a gas
or vacuum environment, heated up to 800 C* and then
transferred into the TEM without exposure to atmosphere.
Alternatively a reactive specimen may be loaded into
the holder in a glove box (inert gas) and then transferred
to the TEM. Available for all TEMs.
The basic system includes:
Environmental cell heating holder (single tilt)
Screwed insert
Temperature range +20 to +800 degrees C (in cell)*
with environmental gas reaction chamber
Vacuum pumping port
Gas inlet fitting and integral isolation gate valve
Digital temperature controller
Tip protection sleeve with pump out fitting, pump
out tool
There is an optional viewing window for the environmental
cell
There is an Special Optional Version, HFST4005 with
benchtop heating chamber,
to 1200°C. Please enquire for details.
