its new Advanced Plasma System for EM specimen preparation: SOLARUS.
Solarus offers faster, more thorough cleaning of all samples including
holey carbon films. Capable of safely removing burned on contamination
– the system gives a new inspection lifetime to previously contaminated
EM samples.
Two front ports accept TEM adaptors compatible with all side-entry
TEM or SEM specimen holders. Top loading chamber entry accepts multiple
SEM stubs and large irregular shaped samples. The electronics subsystem
offers a powerful RF power supply, an auto-tuning RF match network and
mass flow controllers. A touch screen interface offering one touch operation
through user programmable recipes provides greater flexibility and repeatability
than anything the competition offers.
