677FIB Single Tilt Multiple Specimen Holder

The Model 677FIB Single Tilt Multiple Specimen Holder accepts interchangeable cartridges called FIBBEM™s.  Each FIBBEM™'s clamping mechanism securely holds multiple specimens for preparation in the FIB instrument.  Post processing, the FIBBEM™ is transferred to the 677FIB holder for viewing the specimens in the TEM.

Enhanced specimen access

• Large cutouts in the FIBBEM™ cartridge allow access of the ion beam and reactive gases to interact with the samples

Multiple position, interchangeable cartridge

• Specimen grids can be stored in the interchangeable cartridge; eliminates potential damage to the specimen by limiting fragile specimen grid manipulation

Specimen identification number

• Each specimen position has a corresponding numerical identifier

Accurate specimen positioning

• Positive click-stop ensures that each specimen is positioned on the viewing axis of the TEM

Increased productivity

• Batch or semi-automated processing by loading multiple FIBBEM™ cartridges onto the FIB workstation stage
