is a 2k x 2k side mount fiber-optical coupled camera that delivers live image viewing at TV rate and large field of view. It is designed for bio-medical imaging applications.
Product Description
The Model 830 SC200W CCD camera is a new member to the ORIUS™ family of high performance CCD cameras. It is based on the same ORIUS SC200 2k x 2k CCD (4M pixels) fiber optically coupled camera but utilizes a single 35mm port of the TEM. This configuration is very beneficial to the life science application as it offers wide field of view of your specimens. The combination of HCR™ (high-contrast resolution) optical technology, and advanced CCD readout electronics has given the SC200W camera the best price-performance value.
It is the fastest 35mm port, digital CCD camera that performs like a TV (30fps). It allows users to capture gain corrected, in-situ events live and allows for the possibility of a direct viewing chamber replacement. It can also be used in conjunction with a high resolution, high sensitivity bottom mount camera to perform general low mag, low dose surveying of the sample. A great combination for true cryo applications.
The power behind the SC200W is it can output high quality (gain normalized) LIVE images that are corrected for cosmetic defects or shading, unlike old analog TV systems that could not.
