HFST4005 Environmental Cell Single Tilt Holder and Furnace

The HFST4005 Environmental Cell Single Tilt Holder and Furnace permits the transfer of a specimen from a furnace into the TEM under vacuum or controlled atmosphere.

Key Features

Integral isolation gate valve 

• Provides isolation from atmosphere gasses to prevent oxidation of the specimen

Specimen securing mechanism

• Screwed clamp ring gently and securely holds the specimen in place

Temperature range

• Ambient to approximately +1200 °C (in furnace)
• Maximum temperature dependant upon the partial pressure of the gasses used

Furnace preparation station

• Water-cooled protection (cooling water supply required) and can be evacuated or supplied with reaction gasses

System package

• Includes temperature controller, protective sleeve with pump-out fitting, pump-out tool, holder loading stand, clamping rings and clamping ring tools
