The TAC100 Series Liquid Nitrogen Anti-Contaminator minimizes contamination in the vicinity of the specimen within the TEM.

Cryo protection 

• Detachable liquid nitrogen dewar with temperature sensor provides efficient cooling to minimize condensation of column contaminants onto the surface of the specimen 
• Recommended for use with liquid nitrogen cooled holders

Versatile configuration

• Retractable twin blade design, also available in beryllium for analytical cryo EDX applications
• Specific models for 120 kV, 200 kV and 300 kV TEMs

A TEM service engineer must be present at the time of installation of a TAC100 Series Liquid Nitrogen Anti-contaminator. It may be necessary to open the TEM column and, in some cases, the standard TEM anti-contaminator may need to be modified. Use of the twin blade or cylindrical anti-contaminator design is dependant upon the TEM manufacturer, model, pole piece gap, and the presence of in-gap accessories.
