ES500W
Erlangshen CCD Camera (Digital Imaging)
|
|
ES500W
Erlangshen CCD Camera (Digital Imaging): An affordable
optical-lens coupled CCD camera designed to meet the needs
of general purpose digital imaging. This camera uses advanced
CCD interline technology together with sophisticated electronics,
designed to maximize image quality. With a frame rate close
to TV standard and more than 1.3 Megapixels, ES500W is an
ideal camera for replacing the TEM viewing screen, recording
electron diffraction patterns, and observing dynamic events
inside a TEM (in-situ experiments). This camera is installed
in the 35mm ports of a TEM.

Slope
Cutter (Specimen Preparation): Ion beam slope cutting
is a technique for cutting heterogeneous materials without
producing mechanical deformation or damage. The PSC-Tool,
in conjunction with the PECS, has essential advantages in
comparison with mechanical grinding/polishing methods and
can be applied universally to most materials.

Turbo
Pumping Station
|
 |
Turbo
Pumping Station (Specimen Preparation): A new modular
approach offering more versatility. The TEM holder module
offers intelligent design solutions for all cryo-TEM needs
while the sample storage module provides vacuum storage
for 3mm TEM samples. Vacuum storage offers a simple and
efficient solution to the prevention of corrosion and
contamination of critical TEM samples (copper technology)
while waiting TEM time.

ChromaCL
|
 |
ChromaCL
(SEM Imaging): A new system for live color cathodoluminescence
(CL) imaging. ChromaCL uses a unique approach of dispersing
light onto an array detector, and live color mixing of
the different photonic pulse maps. The system operates
using Gatan's new DigiScan II, a high performance Digital
Beam Control system and is fully integrated in the Gatan
Microscopy Suite (GMS).

Tomography
Holders (Specimen Holders):
A new range of room temperature, cryo-transfer and narrow
gap pole piece tomography holders has recently been introduced.
The 916 holder is a room temperature holder designed to
give over +/-80 degrees of tilt with a large field of
view. The 914 holder is a cryo-transfer version of this
holder, with similar specifications. For narrow gap (~2mm)
pole pieces, the interchangeable tip 912 holder is available.
Using 1.6mm diameter specimens, this holder allows over
+/-80 degrees of tilt in these narrow gaps.
