Virtual Conference on Metal-Organic Frameworks and Open Framework Compounds 2020
The 2020 Metal-Organic Frameworks and Open Framework Compounds Conference (MOF2020) will proceed virtually. MOF2020web serves to promote interaction, scientific discussion, and exchange amongst academic and industry scientists. It aims to explore and reveal critical data in MOFs, COFs, porous polymers, and advanced porous materials for applications in adsorption and separation, energy storage and batteries, electronics, sensors, supercaps, optics, life science, photovoltaics, and catalysis.
Gatan's K3® direction detection camera was used to reveal the surface and interfacial structures of MOF ZIF-8. The research article, “Unravelling surface and interfacial structure of a metal-organic framework by transmission electron microscopy” available through Nature Materials advance online publication, 20 February 2017 (dx.doi.org/10.1038/nmat4852), demonstrates how the K3 and K3 IS cameras are advantageous to measure beam sensitive metal-organic framework (MOF) structures.
Gatan continues to be a major exhibitor and sponsor of MOF conferences. Please visit our virtual booth to discuss your application needs with our live R&D engineers and sales managers. We would be glad to schedule a 1-on-1 demonstration to discuss your MOF research and the capabilities of K3 and K3 IS cameras. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Andreas Kastenmueller. We hope to meet you at MOF2020web.
