Indexing beyond the OIM Analysis database: Building new phase files

EBSD data with an unexpected phase or one not present in the OIM Analysis phase database can be challenging. A typical workflow is presenting, including fetching structure files from a diffraction database, assessing structure quality, building Kikuchi spheres, and tuning reflectors for Hough indexing. A practical example will be shown highlighting tips for success and common issues.
