Computer recommendations
The computer and graphics card specifications listed below are for DigitalMicrograph®, also known as Gatan Microscopy Suite®, software version 2.x or newer. DigitalMicrograph software version 1.x will not run properly in the Windows 7 operating system, plus associated legacy hardware devices may not be compatible or supported in the referenced configurations.

Software Development Kit (SDK)
The DigitalMicrograph SDK enables you to develop C++ plugins with the appropriate tools. Plugins created with one version of the SDK will usually be compatible with DigitalMicrograph releases with the same minor version number as the SDK (the ‘x’ in 3.x for example). They will have to be recompiled with the appropriate SDK for each minor version of DigitalMicrograph.
